CSA Program

At Dirt Poor Farm, we offer both summer and fall Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs. A CSA program allows customers the opportunity to buy a share of the yearly crops up front, with weekly produce pickups/deliveries. Our 15-week summer program runs from May 20, 2025 – August 30, 2025. Our 10-week fall program runs from October 6, 2025 – December 13, 2025. Customers who register for both the summer and fall vegetable share programs up front will receive a 5% discount on the vegetable share cost.

Vegetable shares are available in half and full shares. Half shares feed roughly two people per week while full shares feed roughly four people. Customers who sign up for a half share can expect approximately one pound of each vegetable variety available for the week while full shares will receive approximately two pounds of each variety. All shares pictured on this site are representative half shares.

Participants will receive weekly emails with a picture identifying everything in their share for the week, a list of items to expect in their share for the next week, and recommended recipes that can be prepared using ingredients in their share.

With the purchase of a vegetable share, customers can choose to purchase a weekly mixed vegetable add-on share and receive a box of mixed produce/farm to table items with their vegetable share each week. These mixed boxes may contain specialty items from our farm as well as sourced items, such as honey, baked goods, specialty fruits and veggies, etc.

Shares can be picked up at our farm in Sweetwater or delivered to your doorstep for an additional fee through Market Wagon, LLC ^©.

Delivery is available in the following counties in East Tennessee: Greene, Cocke, Sevier, Blount, Loudon, Roane, Rhea, Meigs, McMinn, Hamilton, Bradley, Knox, Jefferson, Grainger, Anderson, Union, Hamblen, Campbell, and Claiborne.

Delivery is provided through Market Wagon, LLC ^©. A 25% deposit is due at registration to reserve your spot in the program. After that, the remaining balance will be divided over the duration of the program and paid weekly (with shipping costs added based on your chosen shipping plan).
